Our Facilities
You are very welcome to visit to see what our nursery has to offer.
Our building is designed to facilitate indoor activities and our spacious garden play area for outdoor activities. We are registered with the local authority to care for children from 18 months to 5 years.
The Nursery opens at 8am and closes at 6pm. Parents can drop off and pick up their children at any time within these hours. We also offer school days 9 - 3.30p.m. morning sessions are between 8am-1pm and afternoon sessions between 1pm-6pm.
The Nursery is open during school holidays, closing only on Bank Holidays and for one week at Christmas.
Should you have an emergency situation and need our help we can care for your children during nursery hours.
Our excellent staff all have childcare qualifications and many years of childcare experience. They have been selected for their dedication to the belief that children can learn and have FUN.
A full day includes toast for breakfast, milk and biscuits mid morning, a cooked lunch and a light tea. Morning sessions include breakfast, milk and biscuits and a cooked lunch. Afternoon sessions include a light tea. We provide nutritionally balanced home cooked meals, prepared daily on site by our own cook, catering for vegetarian and special dietary requirements.
We encourage meetings with parents to discuss their child's progress, working on the theory that a Nursery should be a foundation for learning through structured lessons and play.
Pre-school children are required to wear uniform, consisting of a red polo shirt and red sweatshirt or cardigan with logo. Navy, black or grey bottoms. Polo shirts, cardigans and sweatshirts are available from the nursery. Uniform is also available from aged two years if required.
