Parents as Partners

Parental involvement is the key to every childs successful learning journey throughout schooling and beyond. At little Angels, we value parents' contributions as they are regarded as equal partners with us.

I believe learning starts from the child's home and therefore it is essential that teacher's involvement should be that of scaffolding on the skills and knowledge that the child has already acquired from home.

Parents are involved in several ways including meetings to discuss your child's progress. We provide newsletters and collate information from home achievement record that has been completed by parents.

Little Angels fosters a family-oriented environment, therefore parents are actively involved in social events at the nursery. These may include fundraising for good causes, sports day and summer fair to provide extra resources for the children, especially the playground improvement project.

Parents are also encouraged to escort children for educational outings.
